I've changed some appearances too.

- I've added a proposal how a new http://wiki.ethereal.com/Mate "MATE
homepage" could look like. I would rename the current homepage to
Mate/Manual and remove the parts I've copied to my proposal

I think that's right, there's just a "little" issue:
The last time I renamed a page I lost its attachments.

Yes, that's really an issue of the MoinMoin wiki engine. I'd renamed the pages and had to: download the attached files/rename the page/upload again.

- The http://wiki.ethereal.com/Mate_2fTesting page might be renamed to
GettingStarted or alike, and it should explain how to setup a first time
test (where to place the plugin, the configuration file(s) and such)
I think GettingStarted is OK

I've renamed that one.

- although the navigation at the top of some of the pages is helpful,
this makes it hard to maintain, so I would prefer to remove it
I've been wandering around this dilemma for a while :)

So how do we want to go with that?
