Hi List!

And again (as frequently), I'm lost somewhere in the plugin API :-(
As there are frequent discussion about removing the "old style" API and only using the modern API, could this be done *now*? There seems to be concensus that it should be done AFAIR.
I don't want to spend double, triple and whatever else effort to bring things up again and again. So do it once and do it right :-)
I do not even really know how this modern style will look like, but it will be almost certainly better than the way we have it now. And I would also guess it's a step into stabilizing the ABI for V1.0 also mentioned earlier.
