Perhaps you could write the French version of the document by translating
the current version. That will certainly make it easier for more French
programmers to improve Ethereal.

I don't know that anyone actually uses Visual C++ for Ethereal
development.

For my part I still have not tried building it under Windows, although I
really have no excuse, as I routinely do stuff with VC and Cygwin these
days.
