That's how I feel about it too. But - as I mentioned earlier - if you think
you have lots of time at your hand, you can either rebuild the code every
once in a while or you can try to come up with a way to provide several
plugin API versions at the same (and implement it, of course ;)
"you" in this context means everyone who feels the need to keep code to
themselves (or whos boss/legal department does).
