 I am sending you the problem i am getting after converting the file to pcap using text2pcap.
The file which i am going to use can  not be converted to the pcap format It gives "wrote 0 bytes" like that.

If i tried to read the file of the format which i sent you yesterday
 It will display the unknown hexdump values unknown time values along with th info column in the first window specifying the name of the encapsulation type we give in the dec opening routine.

I tried with some two encapsulation types but it will display the infowhich is unknown.Is there any problem in reading the packets from the file.
 
One more information i want how to pass the string values of the packet read to col_add_str() function of the col-utils.c.
 
Please suggest me how to go to add new format of file from the scracth 
   please
