We've been working with some DICOM transfers on 10.6; they decoded properly. However, the same captures did not work in 10.4; they also don't work in 10.7. It seems that the stream isn't recognized. We get the appropriate TCP decodes, but not the DICOM. I've tried disabling all protocols except Ethernet, IP, TCP, and DICOM - I was trying to see if there was some conflict with another dissector, but nothing worked.
