I've certainly never heard of it before, and I'm not involved with middleware, so my interest would be solely from the point of view of including support for as many protocols as possible.

I have to use that code at work and would be nice to have
it included in next ethereal release.


In your previous message you said

When people say things such as that in their messages, I tend to assume it means that they'll be sending a cleaned up version later, and don't spend a lot of time looking at it (possibly not any time at all). Others might do so as well.
If somebody wants a dissector in the next Ethereal release, they should either 

	1) not send it out with comments implying that it's not ready yet

or

	2) eventually send out a version that they consider ready.
