me.  There is, at best, an equal number of clicks to refocus the SRT

a single protocol.  It's definitely annoying to users that only want 
to generate one SRT list at a time.

I have doubts, that the current model of having two dialogs is a good 
idea at all.

It might be better to have one dialog, which includes the filter and 
additional widgets (maybe hideable by a details button or such).
