I've recently experienced a "feature" that seems to be a bug to me.

When openening one or more of the statistic dialogs, the values of the
current capture file will be displayed.

But when the capture file is closed, the statistic values remain in the
dialogs.

Is this intended for a reason I just don't see, or simply a bug?



That is a bug.
Yes, I just saw this behavior with the sip tap. Its a bug and has to be fixed. 


The stats windows are reset/cleared when a new capture is taken or a new
file is read.
They should also be cleared when the current capture is closed.
