Hi all,

I just checked out ethereal into a new directory to see what happens.

I got that far:

[PowerBook15:~/test/ethereal] tuexen% make
make all-recursive
Making all in tools
Making all in lemon
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
Making all in wiretap
make all-am
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
Making all in doc
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Making all in epan
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../packet-ncp2222.c', needed by `register.c'. Stop.
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
[PowerBook15:~/test/ethereal] tuexen% ls -l | grep 2222
-rwxr-xr-x 1 tuexen tuexen 595392 29 Feb 09:01 ncp2222.py
-rw-r--r-- 1 tuexen tuexen 542987 29 Feb 09:01 packet-ncp2222.inc

Any hints?

The attached patch (together with the "epan/configure.in" patch I sent earlier) seems to fix this.

BTW, I noticed that "packet-ncp2222.c" is not removed when I do a "make distclean" (neither is "register.c"). Is that correct?
