This one time effort helps on my PC after installation of  ethereal 0.10.1 :

C:\> cd  Program Files\Ethereal
C:\Program Files\Ethereal> mkdir asn1
C:\Program Files\Ethereal> cd asn1
C:\Program Files\Ethereal> set  eth=eth  > default.tt
Making the default.tt with not length, avoids coredumps and 'issues'.
