Hi List!

As there are so many problems (for me and others), should we find a solution to this in a more general way?

We have been reported by so many people having problems with this (including me, having problems with this regularly), and I don't know how many people actually using asn1 (I don't even know what it's all about, and might not even want to know).

This is especially true on win32 platforms, where usually a console window pops up, telling the defaul.tt file isn't existing. After closing Ethereal, this console window waiting for "press any key" and the main window will keep displayed.
This can be very annoying!!!!!

And when you are not knowing what do to about, this looks like a major bug although it might be intentional behaviour.

It's not important what's the cause of this message (as the user might copy his whole win32 Profile and gets the message because of that), it's important if the error reaction is ok to this, and I think it's too hard (at least for win32 user's).
