Hi!
FYI: I'm currently working on an "install" target for the Makefile.nmake, which tries to fix the problem, not being able to run Ethereal from the generation place (see former "Win32 toolchain" mails), as a lot of DLLs are missing (GTK, GLIB, Wiretap, ...).
This target should copy *all* required files to a new directory (I named it "Debug_GTK1"),
which enables the user just to start ethereal.exe after generating it.
I'm not completely sure how this has to be fit together (e.g.: what should be done in "make" and what in "install"), but this might help us somehow on this topic as well ?!
