Hi,

My guess is that is due to that the first mail you send from a certain mail
address is not sent out on the mailing list until it has been checked by a
moderator (to avoid spam on the mailing list) and that the user has resent
the mail.
At least that is what I think.
I have seen some cases where new users has sent the same or a similar mail
again, sometimes indicating that their previous mail wasn't sent to the
list.

I think it may be good to indicate something about this on the Ethereal site
where it tells about the mail addresses for the ethereal-dev and
ethereal-user mailing lists, so that new users knows why the mail they have
sent is not sent immediately on the mailing-list.
