Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] Interface doesn't show up unless typed into Ethereal, Windump do

Here is a report according to your instructions.
Downloaded most recent Windows/Intel ethereal (0.9.16) and winpcap (3.0) kits.

My adapter does not show up in Ethereal.  If I type in the following (which
appears to represent my Intel adapeter), it works:

 \Device\NPF_{2C4F88F8-9CF7-4E00-8244-69B5026D0772}

Attached is a zip file with the debug output from windump and a
"nopcap.doc" MS Word screen capture showing my account is Administrator,
the ipconfig output, etc.  All hardware is described in the msinfo32 window.
The system drivers shows the npf was not started.

I learned this name by downloading the debugging winpcap library,
"packet.dll" and running windump.  Windump did not work either without
it's own packet.dll debugging library.
