In fact, I do exactly that when doing compiles of Ethereal on my Windows
partition.  (I don't do that a lot - most of my Ethereal development is
done on one of two variants of BSD:

	http://www.freebsd.org/

	http://www.apple.com/macosx/

but I do it on occasion.)

The only thing you have to be aware of is that pathnames have to be
*Windows* pathnames; Cygwin pathnames won't work with a native-Win32
build of Ethereal or Tethereal.
