One thing I noticed in the HIG is that there are separate "Save As" and
"Save a Copy" menu items.  We should probably add "Save a Copy", if for
no other reason than to allow a user to save a capture in some format
other than the one in which it was read, without forcing a re-read of
the capture (and potential loss of information if the new format can't
store all the information the old format did).

I didn't know this menu item before, but it sounds reasonable.

Unfortunately, I 've already quite a lot of work to do before implementing this...
