Mmmmmh... I think you found a really nasty bug in the code: parameter()
sometimes returns the next offset, but sometimes only the parsed length. I
think I know what I have to do tonight :)
I propose to wait until the parameter() method is fixed, and then apply your
patch and the required fix.
