Title: Is it possible to build Ethereal without Perl, Python, flex and yacc?

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to build Ethereal without the software: Perl, Python, flex, yacc. According to the README file, it looks like these programs are needed only if certain code is modified from the original supplied in the package. (This is except for Perl which is needed for generating the man page.)

If the build can be done without these packages, is there a way to try out such a build (on a system that has these packages installed)? My system has all this software installed and I can't uninstall it.

Thanks,
Puneet
