Yes, just as we want to provide support for both permanent and transient
changes to protocol preferences (and probably for both permanent and
transient enabling and disabling of protocols, and permanent and transient
changes to color filters).  And we'd want to include all of those in
profiles.

Should there be global and per-profile versions of those, so you can say,
for example, "I always want TCP and UDP to include port number information
in the top-level tree entry", "I want captures handled with this profile
to have this set of WEP keyhs", and "I want to treat Frame Relay frames in
this capture as containing Ethernet frames"?
