Well, Windows apps seem to use "About <app name>", except when they
don't (e.g., when they just put up their splash screen), as do Mac OS X
apps, at least on my 10.1 iBook.

KDE apps also appear to use "About <app name>"; GNOME apps seem to just
say "About".

I'd say "About Ethereal" is right.
