How about registering only a "mixed LINKTYPE" DLT, refer to link type names
from e.g., an URI (encoded within the capture OR implicitly defined with the
version attribute), and define the link type for every single packet in the
capture? This has the advantage that you don't needlessly deplete DLT
identifiers, and are responsible of maintaining the "mixed LINKTYPE" format
and identifiers.
