FYI : I've just checked the NetCap tool provided with Windows XP (both home and pro. editions) Files generated are compatible with Ethereal and you can monitor both LAN and DialUp (PSTN, ISDN, xDSL) connections.

What package are you talking about? If it's the NetCap tool, please read http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q310875  Once the file saved open it with Ethereal (I never did it but should be OK because Ethereal does support Network Monitor file format).  Did I miss something?

Who can tell you how to do this work by command line or by setup.exe created by myself?

more user can not do this, it is too complex for them.
