Presumably by "and/or" you meant "and possibly also", as you can't turn
on "Automatic scrolling in live capture" if you're not doing an "Update
list of packets in real time" capture.

But, yes, that definitely sounded like the sort of thing the original
poster wanted.  It's probably not what you want if you're capturing a
lot of traffic - at least not with "Automatic scrolling in live
capture", as that has to scroll the screen up and draw the new packets
as they arrive - but it's nice if packets aren't arriving so fast
Ethereal wouldn't be able to keep up and update the display.
