I finally got it to compile, but now when I try and run ethereal.exe I get a message stating, "The procedure entry point g_main_context_iteration could not be located in the dynamic link library glib-1.3.dll." Is there a way to build the installer? I'm not sure what the line, MAKENSIS="C:/program files/nsis/makensis.exe" is refering to in the config.nmake file. > > Jaclyn-b-tech wrote: > >>I don't have any spaces in the directory... but I did try and put >>quotes around it but it didn't change anything. >> >>When running cleanbld.bat it tells me the following: >>Could Not Find C:\..\config.h >>Could Not Find C:\..\epan\config.h >>Could Not Find C:\..\epan\dfilter\config.h >>Could Not Find C:\..\text2pcap-scanner.c >> >>Then when I compile it tells me for every file that wtap-int.h is >>included in: >>wtap-int.h(30) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'glib.h': >>No such file or directory >> >>I extracted the source code I downloaded directly from the ethereal >>site into a directory.
