That's the viral nature (and in my eyes the beauty) of the gpl: if one
(non-trivial) patch in the sources, is gpl, the whole thing must be
gpl (or compatible). So yes, in theory we need consent of all contributers
to the c source code of ethereal (and maybe some generator scripts).

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
