Perhaps there should be (as I think either you or Jason House suggested
or, at least, hinted) a register.c-style mechanism (or maybe use
register.c, and the scripts that generate it, itself) to allow a
statistic to register itself in a table, and have Tethereal and
Ethereal, when starting up, call the registration routines, and then
have a routine for the "-z" flag that looks the argument up in a table
set up by that process and calls the appropriate regisration routine,
passing it optarg.
