Is there any way to help stop trouble with a particular video device?
Updated video drivers maybe?  Or is this simply a problem that can't be
overcome?

I also remember seeing past discussions about other GUI's for ethereal...
are there any "mature" ones for windows?  I assume the answer to that is
"no" since only one binary is available...
