Hi,

I have been playing with a Windows GUI for Ethereal for the last couple of
months. It is finally in a state that it is (somewhat) stable and usable.

You can download it from www.packetyzer.com.

Currently only basic features are supported, and many features that appear
to be supported are broken. However I plan to continue to improve it. I use
Packetyzer in my day job so I have added (and debugged) those features that
I use the most. I am open to suggestions on what should be done to improve
it, and will fix any bugs that are found.

I have created a DLLized version of Ethereal that Packetyzer uses. I don't
think that it is clean enough yet to submit as a patch, but I have make the
source code for it available in a zip file. Basically I tried to follow the
model of tethereal. Ultimately, when I get it right, it should be possible
to rewrite tethereal so it is only a hundred lines long and all of the hard
work is done by the DLL.

Regards,

Chris.
