I do not have any dual homed hosts available to test with right now, but I have a suggestion: I know it is very *nix-centric, but an option to run the tethereals via rsh (or perhaps options for other OSs), and then collect the results would make a (rudimentary) distributed collection system. Of course, without good time synchronization, this is not too useful, but *with* good time sync this could be a big help in net troubleshooting.
