Ethereal-dev: [Ethereal-dev] net-snmp [was: ethereal 0.9.4-0.7.2.0 crash on Red Hat Linux 7.2]
Speaking of ucd-snmp, is ethereal supposed to compile with net-snmp 5.0.2?

That means your UCD SNMP shared library is too old for Ethereal to use;
you'd need to upgrade to a version that corresponds to UCD SNMP 4.2.2 or
later (preferably 4.2.4 or later, as a fix was introduced in 4.2.4 that
prevents some internal buffer overflows).
