Remove the -O2 option from configure.in epan/configure.in and
wiretap/configure.in. Then run autogen.sh. Look out for compiler bugs,
as gcc without optimization is not a supported featuer IIRC.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
