Well, it wouldn't build for me, either, using HP's make; it kept getting

	Make: Macro expansion too big.  Stop.

errors.

I don't know whether this is a result of 0.9.2 having too many
dissectors, and hence too many items in some macros, or not.

Please note that Ethereal 0.9.1 and all previous releases (presumably
you meant "previous releases", as 0.9.2 was a subsequent release) had
fewer dissectors. :-)

Try it with GNU make.  Automake avoids using GNU make-isms, so that the
resulting package won't require GNU make for that reason; however, it
doesn't make an effort to limit macros, etc. to a size that various
makes can handle.
