A recent CERT advisory (http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2002-03.html)
discusses vulnerabilities found in many SNMPv1 implementations.  The
vulnerabilities were discovered using the PROTOS test suite from the
University of Oulu (http://www.ee.oulu.fi/research/ouspg/protos/).

There have been some reports of Ethereal crashing while trying to analyze
the data generated by the SNMPv1 suite, so I pulled down the four testing
applications and captured the data that each one generates.

The current CVS version of Ethereal segfaults when trying to read each of
the four traces.  I did a little debugging this evening, but didn't get
very far.  If anyone else wants to look at the traces, they can be found
at http://www.ethereal.com/~gerald/PROTOS/
