Hi, as I wrote somewhere before - I don't capture all packets, I just filter the output thru perl script and save only a few sensitive pieces of data I need. Bu I suggested som kind of debugging fnctionality to be included into (t)ethereal - save every packet to a file (only one) before performing any other activities - so the last packet (usually the one that caused the crash) would be available (it can be 1, 10 , 100 packets or else but I just cannot . The answer I got from one of you (developers) was "very interesting" :) 


I will code up a patch that changes the cmd matching in such a way later
today to fix 2,
Marcin, is is possible for you in that case to apply that patch to the
source code and test if it fixes the problem?

I'll get snapshot later today or tomorrow and try.
