Hi,
I am new to ethereal mailing list.Actually I joined this list to know how one should write a protocol analyser.I have gone through all the documentation of Ethereal but didn't find anything.I have downloaded ethereal tarball but don't know from where to start my study.(There are lot of files.)Actually I want to know how to trap data for say telnet requests over eth0.Where can I get information about it or which files should be studied first from ethereal files. 

Any pointer on Net will be helpful too.
