First of all, I would like to thank to all these people who works on
Ethereal. It is my favourite
network tool, which helped me many times to solve problems. Thanks guys.
I have following problem with (win2000) ethereal 0.8.20 downloaded from
ethereal.com win archive.
When I try to load some specific Sun snoop file to ethereal it loads OK. But
when I move cursor
(highlited line) on "special" datagram then Ethereal freezes itself. I have
had the same problem
with many Sun snoops already, but this is first time I succeeded to isolate
the "special" datagram.
I have attached binary file (Sun snoop) containing 2 datagrams. After you
load this file and move
cursor down to second dgm error should appear and Ethereal should freeze. Is
there any fix available
for this problem ?
