Well, there are two lines at the bottom of the screen; both of them have
a combo box and a "Filter:" button, but one has a "Reset" button and a
status section giving the file name (that's always been there), and the
other has "Use" and "Clear" buttons.

What do those two buttons do?  What's the difference between the two
combo boxes and "Filter:" buttons?

What does the "To prepare" button do it in the display filter dialog
box?  I click it, but nothing happens.
