I am having problems building ethereal for Solaris 8.  The configure script completes but it doesn't enable ethereal for building.  Here is the result from the following configure command:
./configure --prefix=/opt/local --enable-ethereal

The Ethereal package has been configured with the following options.
                    Build ethereal : no
                   Build tethereal : yes
                     Build editcap : yes
                    Build mergecap : yes
                   Build text2pcap : yes
                     Build idl2eth : yes
                     Build randpkt : no
                      Build dftest : no

                    Install setuid : no
                       Use plugins : yes
                  Use pcap library : yes
                  Use zlib library : yes
Use IPv6 name resolution : no
                  Use SNMP library : yes
I have attached a trace of configure and the config.log.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
