I had grabbed the gtk+-1.2.8 build from sunfreeware.  I got errors with
ethereal-0.8.20 when buiolt against this version of gtk+.  I grabbed a
newer build from sunfreeware, 1.2.10, and its working now.

Not sure what the problem was.  Might have been a bad compile of gtk+,
though I was using it successfully for other things.

I've got everything working now. Thanks.  I'd have mailed sooner but
wanted to reply to my original message.
