Might it be that the original author's native language is not English (or
Australian or even American).
Stick to English spelling rules.

By the way Richard, what's this charset encoding IBM850 you are using that's
upsetting my mail gateway?

Hmmm, having done a search, it seems that there are documents on the 
Internet that use Routing and others that use Routeing.  The second 
seems to ignore standard English spelling rules, but might be 
appropriate. Comments?
