I wasn't clear enough in my original post; obviously, inserting code
anywhere is too general.  What I really was asking about is a "Tools" socket
that would let you register a menu item and a call back function, so that
you could add tool modules (e.g. the tcp analysis module) without having to
modify the ethereal sources (esp. menu.c and other ui modules).
