There is no replacement for NFSv2 or NFSv3, though NFSv4 has built-in
quota support.  As far as I know, rquota never hit a second version.

rquota sends the available quota in a 32-bit value which obviously
limits the available disk space it can report to 4GB.  That's why I call
it antiquated :-)
