Hi Gilbert,
Thanks for the info.
Ok, I have finally started up on this CORBA/IDL stuff,
and was thinking about FT_CDR_xxx types for giop/iiop.
Initially I was going to use packet-giop.[ch]
as I have proposed earlier, but it would be nice
to bolt it into the ethereal FT_xx types and
make use of proto_tree_add_item() with the new
types.
eg:FT_CDR_LONG, as in
static hf_register_info hf[] = {
{
&hf_giop_message_type,
{
"Message type", "giop.type",
FT_CDR_LONG, BASE_DEC, NULL, 0x0, ""}
}
etc..
Will your changes make it into ethereal anytime soon ?
It would be nice for me. Otherwise I am forced to use
my previous strategy of adding lots of things to packet-giop.
Comments ??
Cheers / Frank..
