Yes, but I have a *lot* of potential fields. I have a couple of dozen
(so far) payloads, most of which are an array of a couple of dozen
structs with a couple of dozen elements. That's over ten thousand
potential fields. What will ahppen to ethereal's performance if I
register them all?

My registration function is already starting to get a mite unwieldy.
