Hi,

There have been a number of cases where I want to add an item to the
protocol tree, but I don't yet know the length of the data.

I would like to add the item, as it seems I cannot build a tree and then
add it to the protocol tree, and then go back and add the length of the
data it refers to ...

Is there any solution?

Examples include processing mime headers. I would like to add a subtree
that points to the mime headers, but won't know how long they are until I
have processed them all.
