Hi Folks,

Here is an early and very rough draft of the Ethereal User's Guide that I
am working on. The Developer's guide will take a little longer :-)

This gives you some idea of what it will look like.

What I need is help with some areas. I need instructions including examples
of building it under FreeBSD. While I have FreeBSD, I have to re-install it
and I am not well versed in developing under FreeBSD. It would also be
useful to have some comments on building it under Slowaris, HP-UX, AIX, and
so on. Especially helpful would be tricks and traps.

Anyway, see what you think.

When I submit some source to the source tree, the two docs will build from
one directory into PDF, HTML and PS. The source is SGML. I am using DocBook.
