Well, the code matched the spec, other than treating the control field
as 2 bytes even for U frames (but that would happen only for U frames
with data in them, which happens in "Unacknowledged Mode", and the
traffic you had available to look at was in "Multiframe Mode" with I
frames carrying the data, so...).
