I'm having a hell of a time producing a buildable distribution tar file.
For some reason any distro I build fails in plugins/gryphon. It complains
that it can't find a config.h file. There was none delivered for 0.8.0... I think
the dependency for a config.h file in 0.8.0 is being satisfied by
the top-level config.h file, while now it's not.

anyway, that's enough for tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.
