I just had an idea. It might be interesting to have a status/counters
window where a user could 'add/remove/edit' a list of filter
specifications and the window would update as the capture was taking
place.
A default set of filters could include the protocol keywords for major
protocols. The window could even have two columns - 'captured' and
'displayed'.
Sortof a display-time dynamic packet stats/counter.
I have no idea how difficult this would be, just a thought.
